Mud swallowed my village. FVCK!
Sidoarjo mud flood is the result of an erupting mud volcano in Porong, East Java. Responsibility was credited to the blowout of a natural gas well drilled in 2006 by PT Lapindo Brantas. It is expected that the flow will continue for the next 25 to 30 years. Although the mud flow has been contained since 2008, resultant flooding regularly disrupt local highways and villages, and further breakouts of mud are still possible.
